Stay in Hay have two gorgeous self-catering cottages, Small Brook and Southwick, located at the heart of the world’s first book town, Hay-on-Wye. Located only two minutes walk from the centre of town and an equal distance to the idyllic, meandering River Wye, there are plenty of activities on offer in the locality including gorgeous walks, canoeing, shopping and outdoor pursuits. 

The cottages are only a stones throw from The Globe at Hay. As one of Wales’ favourite arts centres, The Globe offers a whole range of entertainment including live music, art exhibitions, comedy nights, and open mic.

Smallbrook Cottage:

With three bedrooms, there is room for up to six guests to find a little piece of rustic bliss in one of the UK’s most desirable towns. Originally a family home, the cottage has been renovated to maintain the original period features while bringing the utilities into the 21st century. Think roll-top baths, roaring log fires, and tasteful period interior design. We also allow pets!

 

Southwick Bungalow:

Southwick Bungalow is the perfect spot for a group getaway, sleeping six people, with two double bedrooms and one twin room. This charming, self-catered, newly renovated bungalow boasts sleek, modern furniture, spacious rooms, and large windows, giving an airy and light feel.
